There are 12 Jyotirlingas situated in different parts of India. The five most important of these 12 Jyotirlingas are located in Maharashtra. It is believed that Lord Shiva revealed himself to his devotees in the form of light, so these pilgrims are named as Jyotirlingas.

Day 01: Arrival in Pune - Bhimashankar-Trimbakeshwar-Nashik
On Arrival at Pune airport/railway station, you shall be met by our representative, after meet and greet we will proceed to Bhimashankar Darshan (110 Kms / 03 Hours), Bhimashankar is surrounded by hills and is covered by thick green rainforests. Legend has it that the name Bhimashankar was originated from the river Bhima which evaporated due to the generated between the war of Lord Shiva and the demon Tripurasura. It is considered to be one of the holiest places in India because of the jyotirlinga. Then proceed to Trimbakeshwar (235 Kms / 04 Hours) an ancient Hindu temple city, known for housing one of twelve Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva. The temple is said to be built when Lord Shiva and lord Vishnu had an argument over the supremacy of creation of the world. The unique part of the this Jyotirlinga is that displays three faces portraying Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Rudra. (Approx 235 Kms / 04 Hours) Then we will proceed to Nashik Stay Overnight at hotel in Nashik.

Day 02: Nashik-grishneswar-Pune & Departure
After breakfast, we will proceed to Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga (175 Kms /04 Hours). Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga is the last Jyotirlinga of the country and holds a huge importance in the Shaivism tradition of Hinduism. The temple derives a huge influence from south India Temple architecture and boasts a five tier Shikara. It is even the smallest Jyotirlinga temple in the country. The temple houses a beautiful carvings and sculptures of gods and goddess. Later drive back to Pune (217 Kms /05 Hours). On arrival at Pune, drop at the airport/railway station according to your Schedule for your own words Journey.
