Places Covered: Delhi - Jaipur - Pushkar - Ajmer - Agra - Delhi

Day 1: Delhi:

You will be received by our representative at the International Airport in Delhi at the specified time from where you will be transfered to the Hotel.

Day 2: Delhi to Jaipur

Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrial check in at hotel. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur.

Day 3: Jaipur Sightseeing / City Tour

Morning visit Amber Fort with an Elephant ride till the main entrance of the fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Rest of the day is free and optional visit to Chokhi Dhani resort - built in ethnical rajsthani style and specially in the evening they organise lot of activities like, camel ride, Puppet show, Snake charmer and handloom cloths etc. alongwith specialised Rajasthani/continental Dinner as well. Return to hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 4: Jaipur to Pushkar

In the morning after breakfast we drive to Pushkar. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. On the edge of the desert lies the tiny tranquil town of Pushkar along the bank of the picturesque Pushkar Lake - an important spot for the Hindus. Surrounded by hills on three sides, Pushkar abounds in temples. The most famous of these is the Brahma temple - the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the country (in Hindu mythology, Lord Brahma is one of the Trinity and is the creator of the Universe). Every year thousands of devotees throng the Lakearound full moon day of 'Kartik - Purnima' (an auspicious date between October and November) to take a holy dip in the lake. The Pushkar fair, a huge colourful camel fair, is also held during this time.

Day 5: Pushkar to Ajmer and then back to Pushkar

In the morning after breakfast we drive to Ajmer, situated in the green oasis wrapped in the barren hills has been a witness to an interesting past. The city was founded by Raja Ajay Pal Chauhan in the 7th Century A.D. and continued to be a major center of the Chauhan power till 1193 A.D. Today, Ajmer is a popular pilgrimage center for the Hindus as well as Muslims. Especially famous is the Dargah Sharif-tomb of the Sufi saint Khawaja Muin-ud-din Chisti, which is equally revered by the Hindus and Muslims. Later we visit the Dargah of Sufi Saint Khawaja Muin-ud-din Chisti. The Dargah at the foot of a barren hill is situated India's most important pilgrimage center for people from all faiths. The mausoleum has a gigantic gate, which was built by the Nizam of Hyderabad. The two massive cauldrons in the courtyard are of particular interest and on the right side of the courtyard in the Akbari Masjid built in white marble. There is another mosque in the courtyard built by Shah Jahan. In the evening returne back to Pushkar.

Day 6: Pushkar to Agra

In the morning after breakfast we drive to Agra. En-route we visit Fatehpur Sikri, the beautiful capital built in 1640 by the Mughal King, Akbar the Great. The city was later abandoned for lack of water. A superb example of Mughal architecture, it stands perfectly preserved in the desert. We also visit the artistically designed mausoleum of Salim Chisty who is reputed to have prayed for a son for Akbar leading to the birth of Salim Jehangir, the builder of the Taj. From here we continue on a countryside drive to Agra. On arrival we check in our Hotel. Later we visit Agra Fort, where Shah Jehan, in the later years of his life, was imprisoned by his son to prevent him from spending the family fortunes on a black echo of the Taj Mahal.

Day 7: Agra to Delhi

Early morning on Sunrise we visit to one of the most well known wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal. Built by Shah Jehan as a mausoleum for his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj is built of white marble, beautifully carved and inlaid with semi-precious stones. Later we drive to Delhi. On arrival, Check in ino hotel. Over night stay at hotel in Delhi.

Day 8: Transfer to Delhi Airport

Early in the morning transfer to airport for flight to onward destination.
